Microsoft Non-responds to Xbox 360 54% Failure
Xbox 360 is most likely to fail.
Last week the conducted by Game Informer were released, showing that the Xbox 360 having a shocking 54.2 percent rate of failure among its nearly 5,000 respondents.
For comparison, those with PlayStation 3s responded with a 10.6 percent failure rate, while the Wii was the most reliable with only 6.8 percent failing.
While the methodology of the survey isn't flawless, the sign is still clear that the Xbox 360 is more prone to failure than the other two consoles of this generation.
Microsoft responded to the numbers with the usual company line, but surprisingly did not refute the numbers found by Game Informer.
"Microsoft stands behind the Xbox 360 as a superior entertainment console with one of the best warranties in the industry," was told by a Microosft spokesperson. "We are constantly improving the design, manufacture and performance of the console through extensive testing of potential sources of any problems. Xbox 360 is pleased to maintain the title of 'most played console' and the vast majority of Xbox 360 customers have enjoyed a terrific gaming and entertainment experience since their first day, and continue to, day in and day out."
Anecdotal evidence suggests that more recently manufactured Xbox 360s are more reliable than older units. For all new buyers of the Xbox 360, we hope that's true.

Even (most) console stores in my country would persuade people to stay away from XB360 because they were having trouble handling the warranty (due to many repairs :P )
This is not about MS hater or Sony lover, truth be told, I was thinking of buying an XB360 myself when several stores that I visited told me not to ;)
