Airport Body Scan Banned From Children, Teens
Now your children's privates will remain that way.
Last week we learned of airport security scanners that use low doses of radiation to make 3D black and white scans of volunteer passengers. The scans can reveal objects concealed beneath their clothes including wallets, combs, pens, and anything else, including parts of the anatomy.
Originally, children could take part in the scanning program with their parents' consent, but now it revisions to the program are now banning anyone under 18 years of age from being scanned.
According to the , Terri Dowty of Action on Rights for Children, a UK internet based group supporting the United Nations convention on the rights of the child, said: “It’s not right to put the machine operators in the position where they are being asked to break the law. Under present legislation the taking of images of children in this way cannot be done.”
A Manchester Airport spokeswoman responded to the decision to exclude children from the test: “Experts in child protection have told us that this is a grey area. On this basis, if these experts tell us that there might be a problem then we’ll work with them to establish a definitive position. In the meantime no one under 18swill participate in the trial when adult passengers start being invited to take part in a couple of weeks.”
The devices will be used in a 12-month trial run.

The UK has to many camera's already pointing and scannng the average human and the law is the law.
I think this is a good one for stopping there big brother ideals on eveyone.
I know a young child could pack a bomb right?
I don't think the child...or the family would get past all the other detectors that the average public will never know about and that is breaking the law......but thats the people who make these things.
They make up the laws and also pass the laws to use these unknown devices all over the UK and other places.
Thanks Index good article

Y will say one thing though...if any one ever tries to scan my lower end ....they will end up with my boot up there lower end enough said

If you pass through this scanner, they will see your naked body.
If the law requires your child also to pass through this scanner, well, all pedophiles will apply to work as scanner operator.
If the law excludes children from being scanned, what's the point of this type of scanner, other than exposing my fat ass, so that some freaking losers can jerk off?
